If you’re planning to appeal against a suspension of your driver’s licence, it’s really important that you’re aware of the time limits.
For most licence appeals, the application needs to be lodged within 28 days. That seems really straightforward, but there’s actually a complicated process for calculating when that 28 days counts from. Often, the suspension letter will tell you when that period expires, but if it doesn’t, it’s a good idea to call an experienced traffic lawyer for some help. We can work out the deadlines for you.
It’s really important that you get your appeal lodged within the time limit. If you don’t, there’s normally no extension of time and you won’t be able to appeal your suspension. If you need some help, give us a call at Ainsley Law, we’re always happy to help.
